5/25/2021. Today marks the first anniversary of George Floyd’s killing by police brutality. Calls for change have been called from every corner of the world and Americans have been having the awkward dialogues and insightful debates about race and police brutality. This past year, our high school community has put in a lot of effort to bring more awareness to topics that need deep reflection as well as take action in ways we can to support those we consider are our allies and partners. Our continued work and activism in the community was featured on BAStA’s Blog and it has been a privilege and honor to work with every high school member at WSP this year.
